hoho! i'm soo excited about Taiwan! met up with the group last night to discuss some details..although not much was confirmed, the trip just felt more real meeting up instead of just posts on the forum online..

31 Dec: reach Taipei in the evening, quickly check in and go join in for the COUNTDOWN!!!!

1-3 Jan: wake up superrr early to catch a train to kaoshiung? will stay there for 2 days ba.

3-6 Jan: pending..need to look for interesting places. (Huiee any suggestions? haha dun think u will get to see this in time also..haha)

6-9 Jan: Taipei :D shopping!!

Only day 1's hotel will be booked and the rest will be impromptu! we can go wherever we want to! hope everything falls well in place! hot springs, night markets, mingsus..omg i am so excited!

Its gonna be a backpacking trip and so i bought a HUGE backpack! how huge is huge? wait for pictures to come and u will know its really big!

ok la., i'm just excited..sorry to bore u out there! :D

Anyway, sis is coming back this Mon, 6+am! i will be going to pick her up because that idiot threatened not to pass me my souveniors if i didnt.. hahaha luckily i managed to take off in the morning! Oh, will also be going for a bowling tournament that very afternoon! gosh..please dun let me long kang all the way! just let me hit some pins with every bowl!! ahahah..Work tomorrow though..let my floor parties be swee swee!

how i spent my hari raya..

Went KTV with colleagues yesterday! sang at Bugis Top One from 11am-5.50pm!! :) Really screamed in the beginning to vent all our pent up anger and after that felt really SHIOK! bumped into Joanna, Henry and Bernard at the entrance of the KTV also!
sing sing sing..after that we went over to Illuma for movie! NINJA ASSASSIN! was so looking forward to this movie, but just 5 mins into the movie, my heart really cannot take it! heads get cut off, hands get cut off, limbs off, whatever part of the body can be sliced is sliced! (never ever offend a ninja as they will mysteriously and unexpected slice u up!!) throughout the movie, i kept turning to siew ying..why must rain act in this type of show!! ahaha..first time in llluma's cinema and it is really good! seats are spacious and comfy! duno why not much people also..

anyway, Rain's 8 months of crazy training is clearly visible! he got so much thinner and fitter! but a diet routine with 0 salt and sugar for 8 months??!! the sacrifice artistes have to give..

I still love you Rain, but please act in more cutesy and happy shows! dun always keep getting hit, sliced and tortured!!! :(

Just got back from short trip to tanjong pinang...wasnt too bad but chose a wrong time to go there ba..turns out that during hari raya, all the shops will have to close for the holidays..so in the end, nth much to walk also..
Massage was cheap and good though! enjoyed alot and it helps that the person massaging is friendly and nice :D haha

it was raining the whole day..drizzle, stop, drizzle, stop then suddenly rained super heavily! quite fun actually, to walk at the flooded walkways and cutting through people's houses! i heard from daddy, if we are 'lucky', in kampong areas when it is so heavily flooded, human waste might just be floating all around the place! i'm glad we did not have tt luck!

After the boat set sail..ahahaha..mama was super scared la! cuz the boat kept shaking and mama held on so tightly on my shoulder!

Dinner at a local stall..wanton mee was good! very different from what we have in singapore..i think it costs S$1.10 per bowl? cheap cheap!

so tt marks the end of my trip..due to the rain, we were greatly inconvenienced..but it also made it more fun as walking arnd backyards was really quite cool! haha. alright, very tired liao..off to bed!

Bintan with RB7-1 was loads of fun!!
I love Go-Carting though it was madly expensive ($28 for 10mins) and was quite dangerous...had lots of fun driving and hands felt numb when we got off after 12 mins! Photos while the guys were go-carting :)

Went kayaking after checking in..loved kayaking in Bintan! the waters were so much cleaner than in anywhere else i've kayaked before, and the view was great! arms hurt like siao the next day when we woke up though..hahaha. pictures of us kayaking with Amy! amy's camera was so cool la! so glad she thought of getting disposable camera to bring there and we could just throw it into the water without fear! hope the pictures turned out well!
Had a little problem finding dinner..i really dun understand why there're so little restaurants available when it is a tourist destination..anyway,we settled for pizzas, calamari, wedges and bacon sausages..the pizzas were goooood! :D
Everyone went back for a 2 hr rest before gathering again for drinks...haha we finished a bottle of Alize..it's nice! played the usual stuff...dai dee, uno..talked some crap and went to sleep to prepare for day 2!
second day was spent mostly in the water.. played ball games, saw some jelly fish, banana boated and laze in the water..we were actually scheduled for a massage session but the salon side was fully booked and thus we had to postpone our massages to the last day..

Dinner at the Kelong restaurant was GREAT! Me loves the black pepper crabs..yummy :)

Great view too! we all missed the pledge at 8.22 though.. Went back for drinks but i fell aslp while they were watching 300... Jasmine woke us up to go for a walk and tt was when we joined Nicholas, Viknesh, Dinesh, Preynash for drinks..
ahaha...we were entertained posing for drunken shots!

Slept really well that night!
after breakfast while waiting for the bus to bring us to the massage place, we took lots of pictures at the beach! Really good lighting and i think the pics looked really nice :D

Massage time!! we all took a 2 hr treatment which consists of a body massage and a body scrub..alright only la...

Had lunch at a local place and the food was not bad! if only the food was hot and not so cold..but i loved the avocado!! cheap and really good! yums..
went to buy some snacks and rushed back to NBC for check out after that..
Spent the remaining time just sitting around and chatting when dennis asked us to take pictures with him! Heehee :D:D:D jump shots were fun!
Aww i love bintan! really relaxing place with lots of friendly people who wave back at you! A place to consider gg back to again soon!

I'm back from my induction! its been lots of fun and the people are great!
i'm just left with one monday to go back for my service image training and it'll all be over!
taking a break from work is a really great feeling but sadly to say, it was not a total break.. i dun even wanna think abt the amt of work that is awaiting in the office!! cries... here are some pictures of the group presentation as well as the farewell dinner on 21 may 2009! it was great fun..lots of laughter and it was really weird dressing up in our different teams and appearing in macdonalds like tt!

GRC Retreat @ NACLI (30mar)

went for some team bonding activity at Nacli..really hard to get up to that place but we were lucky to have bumped into alicia and she led the way! haha..reached there and found out its up the hill and jenny lom-panged us up!! breakfast was provided! after that played some ice-breaker and team bulding games ba..then lunch! heard from my bosses that its only during retreat we get such good food at NACLI..hahah..had fish, calamari, chicken wings, blah blah blah..

everyone was praying for it to rain! cuz they didnt want to go for the 'treasure hunt'...then really rained super heavily! was stuck in a hall playing some duno wad game la..suddenly Mr Giam came and said rain stopped and prob wont rain le..very sunny already

so as the boss suggested, we had to go for the treasure hunt. the trail was kent ridge park and hort park. nice place to play! very good scenery and all but we were not properly attired!!! werent told abt the itinery and so we were in our jeans and some were even in heels! wahaha..walked and walked arnd for abt 2-3 hrs...not bad la..everyone shared answers and regardless of how reluctant some were, we all still went! hort park has a really nice kids playground..high tech la! i wanted to play longer but there wasnt much time and i got teased!! hahaha

walk walk walk and finally we're back..super sticky and all but was quite a nice day afterall...hope next time will get to be informed of proper attire beforehand! :)

ps: my collegues don't look that old right?? many are still young!!! and NACLI is really a nice place to go!lots of greens :)

helloooo :) sorry that i'm simply too lazy to update..
i've officially started work since mon 16th mar and today is my off day!
its a 5 day work week but my off is on a weekday and a weekend day..
for now i still dunno my working schedule but there're morning and afternoon shifts, morn being 9-6 and aft 1-10++ but must wait till the cc closes...
but i guess this should be abt the end of my social life... :(

there are many training and courses that i will have to attend in my course of work and i'm looking forward to an induction camp in may! 14 day stay in the PA facilities! heard from collegue that it's very fun!

the collegues i met so far are nice and look forward to meet more of them soon when i get back to work..meanwhile, im very afraid of answering phone calls! because i wldnt know what to say and how to help...hahaha

ok, work aside..daddy and mummy is coming home today!!! i'm sooo happy! hahaha no need to wash clothes already, trouble abt what to eat for breakfast and lunch and no need to kick the pig out of bed to make sure she;s not late for work! hahaha..her alarm SUPER IRRITATING~

Cousin's wedding!

went for my cousin's wedding at Hilton hotel on 12 feb...she's really really pretty!
met stanley there! ahaha..was quite surprised to see him though i knew tt he and my cousin used to be classmates in css..just didnt know tt they were that close..my cousin's 'sisters' were super chio and sexy! just tt they were all dressed in black dresses...haha the old fashioned me thought tt black was a taboo colour in weddings, but turned out tt i was wrong!
anyway, halfway through the dinner, sis and i got bored! ahaha..so we decided to go to the toilet..the trip to the toilet became a cam whoring session! ahaha..

take in the toilet not enough...continue in the lobby...luckily we didnt get caught! or else sure super pai seh! please dun ask me why..i also dunno what are we trying to do! just 2 immature and bored people! haha

ahahahhaha!! VEGGIE!

turned out that one of sis's friend is doing his attachment as a chef at Hilton! he came up to find her after work..funny and yet cute to see him in a chef uniform! :)

before leaving for home, my mom suggested taking a family photo..so the remaining relatives posed for a picture..this may be just an ordinary pic, but its the FIRST time i took a picture with my mother's side relatives! woohoo

had a date with my dearest huiee, amy and may!
surprisingly, the trains and even city hall were not filled with that many lovey dovey couples! first gathered at esplanade's ichiban boshi and even the menu was some v day's special....oh well but we had our usual sushis...it was a good thing we decided to meet earlier or else it would be near impossible to get any seats!

after dinner, the jiu guis side of us resurfaced and thus we walked over to clarke quay for our alcohol! stopped by for some ice cream first and the guy was really enterprising! free sparkle with purchase of each ice cream because its V-day!

decided on this pub named Marrakesh..still cldnt forget the time alistair ordered a 'i love you'! was damn funny :)

hui ee had to go liang court to get some stuff for her mom and i accompanied her...BIG MISTAKE! hahaha...when we came back, settled down and wanted to order our own drinks, suddenly the waiter appeared with 2 glasses of i dunno what at the time..
just searched the web for a nice pic of it..though it didnt look tt nice!
FLAMING LAMBOURGHINI!! ahaha...what a shock i had! i had to keep asking the waiter and them how to drink it..the fire scared me! ahaha..but i am not so 'zai'..my straw burned and had to be replaced! hui ee was great though...she finished hers quickly and the straw was intact! great experience afterall and the drink tasted really nice..just tt i drank too slowly and it was warm at the end for me! amy's the only one left..hehhehheh

hui ee and me went to meet amy, may at 11 in bukit batok and was surprised to see their 2 cute daughters! very sweet and pretty! ahaha..went to videoezy to rent some movies to watch...thanks amy for renting :)

amy's parents were very hospitable and prepared great food for us! i especially love uncle's soft shell crab and aunty's salad with 'pourable dressing'! my first time seeing the 933 golden pillow curry chicken and was quite 'sua ku'. ahaha first time seeing such a big bread! the chicken was great too and very tender.

after eating, we started on this movie, Prime. it was an interesting and funny show. cute guy helped too and uma thurman looks really really good! its hard to believe she's 38!!!wow...

after the movie, we went over to my place..wasnt planned initially but turned out we had quite a bit of time after all...the 3 girls kept teasing me abt that tube dress thingy and the other 'hiding in one corner dresses'..GRRRR can't fit can't fit! so dun ask me wear already k? ahahaha. my house was rather crowded as my relatives were here too..pai seh ar, you all had to cramp in my room... not too close to my cousins so didnt get to intro to u all!

went to hui ee's place next! aunty made her almond jelly and it tasted great! i'm not a fan of anything almond at all and i eat only hui ee mama's! snacked quite a bit there as well..haha..the nuts hui ee got from isetan is very very good! yum yum..2nd movie for the day was its a boy girl thing. the show's very funny and i can't believe i fell asleep in the middle of it! blame the comfy couch.......dun have the pics tt we took yet..all in huiee's cam...

before leaving for may's place..aunty helped us take lots of pictures! hahaha. picture taking was super fun! i think we took hundreds of them! all multi shot type and we ran out of poses soon! but hui ee's mama really very cute, very excited to take pic for us too! happy happy :)

took a cab to may's place..uncle and aunty prepared steamboat for us while we stayed in beebee's room listening to the recording of our syf pieces..ahaha though it may seem very bhb, we sounded DAMN GOOD! hahaha...lots of food with really spicy and good chilli. uncle michael set up the karaoke set for us while we dined..
played the vcd of jeff chang which may bought in the day.. haha and some duet one..some of the songs were damn old and it scares me that we have heard of them and even know how to sing some! I have to admit that i am OLD LIAO LE!
oh , the hightlight of the day: JASMINE CALLED FROM GERMANY!! was soo happy to hear her voice and know that everything's well.. :):):)

chinese new yr is always almost the same every yr for me! like a routine..but i get to have fun and eat yummy goodies! love it! although dad is the driver, dunno why sit at the back of the car also super tiring! always will slp early during ' chu yi and chu er'!!

?day one of visiting started off with sending sis off to office for the lion dance thingy. this yr i followed her to her office but it was a big mistake! super awkward and pai seh..pp bring like bf, gf, spouses and kids..im the only sister! ahaha but okok la..get to see her workplace and use her com to talk to oink
first time pp say we look alike and can tell that we are sisters! im sooo surprised! ahaha
ok la pretty la pretty! whee weet!
so so many pp asked why i nv put on make up! was quite sianed to reply..but i just said 'got pimple outbreak dare not put! !@#$%^&' lesson learnt: next time die die must make up when go visiting! haha

then to my 'da gu-gu' house for a vegetarian feast prepared by my super can cook cousins! very very nice :)

Day 2:

what we wore for the day...can't seem to take any nice pics though..nvm..haha

started the day by going to this temple near sembawang to pray..清水祖师 or something like tt..haha..then off to mama's friend place which i have been visitng for the past dunno how many yrs!
next to my another 'kor po's' place! she's such a great great cook! love her curry, spring rolls, cereal prawns, sotong! wow..can go on and on! yum yum yum *drools* no pics though..haha
after that we went to my ah gu's house! (mother's bro) over there did nothing much except answer the same few qns abt finding a job, having a bf?? blah blah! lucky this yr sis gets all the attention! "when are you getting married?" ahahaha!
ended the day early and went home to play DS the whole night!

Cynthia, sam and yao guang came over for steamboat lunch and mahjong on chu san! haha..i play mahjong terribly but i just like playing :) steamboat was yummy! haha..it took us 8 hours to complete just 2 rounds of mahjong! WOW! super slow but still great fun :)great company too! so just like tt, the whole of day 3 was over!

day 4 nothing much happened la..but i met hui ee to go shopping at giant to get steamboat ingredients! can hardly wait for steamboat! bought different types of food! think steamboat session will be GREAT! met sis at night for movie..watched the jack neo film 'love matters'. not that funny but still not too bad ba..haha

alright..finally updated! i am sooo looking forward to steamboat session with the alcoholic girls! 'jiu gui' la they all! ahahaha! more pictures the next update :)

i should be happy as i was really really tired the past few days... but why do i feel upset and so empty suddenly? i will definitely miss the staff who have been so helpful, nice and friendly to me... :( haiz..goodbyes are really difficult and its a shame i didnt even get to know their names... if only i were a guy or they werent all guys, i wld definitely get their numbers so as to keep in touch! great people they are!

anyway, thanks hui ee and huizhen for coming down today and buying a 6 can pack from me! hee..was happy to see friends there :)

i'm officially unemployed again! it was a brief temp job but at least i had fun.. its chinese new year eve now and im finally able to go chinatown later! can't wait! wads chinese new yr if u dun at least go down to chinatown once???? looking forward to visiting, visiting and more visiting! (+steamboat, mahjong, cards etc etc)

went out with may, hui ee and ee perng today!
had lots of fun as usual and laughed like mad..i think its been 3 yrs since the 4 of us went out together! :)
had kuishin bo buffet for lunch at jurong point! it was good and we ate till super full! haha..forgot to take pictures there though..we were talking about jurong east entertainment being closed for renovation and it led to going k-box! we were soon rushing out of the restaurant to make our way to clementi's k-box..

we love songs like cao meng's 'bao bei dui bu qi' and ' ai bu pa'! and screaming songs includes 'i don't wanna miss a thing' and ' si le dou yao ai'!!! used up alot of our energy and was very tired! and hui ee sings really really well! please go join some talent competition and we'll be sure to vote for u and support u all the way!!!! i wanna be your PA when u become famous and may will do the accounts! :)

decided to head to chevron for bowling after that! our names are: pro, very pro, striker and very pro striker!!!

and here's how we scored! hahaha..pai seh la! the people beside us were good and there we were...initially we used our real names but after playing the 3rd or 4th bowl, we quickly changed our names to avoid being recognised!!

went over to imm for bubble tea and some shopping after that..
ee perng made new specs! nice:)
they cabbed home and we made plans to go gym on mon!

RB7 had a steamboat session + jelly party last friday :):)
it was great great great fun! and we had lots of food even though eveyone just brought a little..
played indian poker, blackjack and we all drank as forfeit..
got super high and happy after that!:)
webcammed with amy and i think we scared her with our high-ness..hahaha..skyped with bird too when we were back to normal except for jasmine who got quite drunk! haha it was so much fun and we all laughed like crazy that day :)
i love roadblockers and everyone overseas/out at sea, come back quickly for our RB7 chalet! really looking forward to it :)

had dim sum buffet with sam, cyn and duck at excelsior hotel last wed, the food was not bad and we ate till we were super super super full! loved the sweet sour pork! was crispy and tender and i just love to eat dim sum! heehee

haha went over to settlers cafe at smu after lunch and played some train game, dinosaur game and taboo! the dinosaur game was really funny as there were umbrellas, fur coats, eggs and legs for it! hahaha..will be meeting up again when wan gets back!

on thurs, results were out and i'm happy to say i've graduated from SIM! am currently searching for a job and have already signed up with jobstreet and monster! pls call me soon!

had our first alumni band prac with mr tan last sat and it was great fun! the tempo was very fast and we went mad! hahaha..rushed down for huat's bday party at simei after that..changi rise is a really nice condo! very relaxing feel! but i dun really like travelling so much in a day..woke up in the morning to get to expo to collect our race pack, then down to the airport for popeye's (yumyum), then to dover for band, and to simei and then back home to jurong again! the furthest i've travelled in a day in singapore i think! hahaha
but it was great fun to meet up with poly friends again after so long!

zheng min was feeling arty and thus my individual shots! haha

just completed my standard chartered run on sun and i got my finisher tee :) had to wake up at 3am tt day and i was so sleepy throughout the race..we pespired so much that the pespiration crystalised and we were covered with salt! hahaha...i'm so happy that i managed to complete it though kept thinking of giving up throughout...it took 8 hrs of jogging and mostly walking..leg cramps, and very very sore, strained and tired feet were a common sight throughout the race...and im no exception! counterpain was a livesaver and we were delighted when we saw 100plus, and bananas...the energy gel tasted horrible though! soooo sweet..yucks
my legs are aching still! hopefully will be able to walk properly soon and not waddle like a duck! its best to lie in bed for now! haha (i hate steps, esp walking down them..and getting up after sitting down is now a torture...) hui ee said she'll join with me next yr, but i dun even know if i will wanna do this ever again...its a torture! haha but maybe maybe....pictures i 'kopped' from the official photographs website!!

haha none of them are flattering, but then again, who has the energy to pose for pictures??? hahaha

may chan's back from australia! and amy will be back soon...but jasmine will be sailing soon :( really looking forward to the day roadblockers reunite! wed will be outing with may, hui ee and jas before jas leaves for the deep blue! really looking forward to it!!!

i'm back already, time really passes so quickly when you're having fun! love the cool weather during the first few days, then it got really really sunny..but still cooler than in singapore! great trip overall! good food, great company and great shopping! though walked till legs super tired and got blisters!

Yay :D this is the start of our Hong Kong trip with cynthia, sam and me! was so very happy to be going for a holiday after all the late nights of projects and cramming for exams!

we had breakfast at this particular chinese restaurant called Chao Inn..Nice dim sum and very cheap as compared to singapore! great food, nice ambience for like SGD 8 per person? it's a steal!

Day 4: 22 Nov (OceanPark)
today, Cynthia's friend, Grace joined us for the day! she's really nice and sweet and we had lots of fun at oceanpark!
maybe its because i went to hk disneyland before, that i found oceanpark actually more interesting and fun! haha..the rides were great fun and i especially love the mine(such high drops which make my heart and stomach feel funny)!
the only ride i super against taking is the drop! which makes my feet feel like jelly just by looking at people on it! haha..alright, enough said..Pictures! :)

Last day: 25 Nov (Balek Kampong)

us having our final dim sum at chao inn again..this time at a different branch! the food there is even nicer!!!! byebye my siew mai and har gao....:(

finally! Po Luo pao and egg tarts spotted!was very full but we just couldnt leave HK without eating the po luo pao and egg tarts..haha..as i'm not a fan of these 2 foods, i had soya bean milk..,but it tasted burnt! saded :(

alright time for an update!

have been watching this korean drama series titled Lucifer for the past few days!

not bad at all..the mystery kept me watching all the way..and the handsome lead actor helped too!but ending was a little sad though..made my heart ache *sniff sniff*

and yeap! we went prawning on sat...very sad to say, we caught only 1...hahah! but it was caught by ME!me me me! and it was a tagged prawn so we won $2..hahaha.
and i didn't dare touch the prawn so here's a picture of my hero! hahaha

i'm really looking forward to my hk trip le :D esprit warehouse sales, adidas, disneyland! whee..happy happy:D

hmmm yeah as u all know, my exams are OVER :D:D like finally over! haha hope i will clear everything and find a job after that!

nothing much has been happening lately.. i'm just taking a break from everything, sleeping early, reading storybooks..basically just some me-time which really refreshes me

haha oh..and yesterday was my first trip to the gym without AMY :( amy..going to the gym without you feels weird and lonely..but i suppose i'll still continue cuz felt good after that! hopefully i'll manage to lose some weight before HK! haha

sorry to all those gatherings, outings and birthday parties that i have missed during this exam period! and to all friends whom i have neglected! pai seh!
