Hong Kong
i'm back already, time really passes so quickly when you're having fun! love the cool weather during the first few days, then it got really really sunny..but still cooler than in singapore! great trip overall! good food, great company and great shopping! though walked till legs super tired and got blisters!
haha..cute receptionist whose 'ang moh buay pai' and great fun pissing cynthia off with my cannot-make-it-cantonese..if u can even call it cantonese! haha...

Day 1: 19 Nov (Singapore-Hong Kong)
Yay :D this is the start of our Hong Kong trip with cynthia, sam and me! was so very happy to be going for a holiday after all the late nights of projects and cramming for exams!

Day 2: 20 Nov (The Peak + Lan Kwai Fong)
we noticed that hongkongers have really heavy breakfasts! this is their portion for 2, which is already so filling for the 3 of us!
in search of egg tarts..first store spotted...not bad i like the crust! but i still find egg tarts too egg-gy for my liking! hahaha

wah lao eh..it was damn steep! throughout the ride i kept thinking what wld happen if we were to slide off...super scary! glad to have survived! haha

it was freaking cold! we were shivering like mad and no clear photos could be taken because hands were shaking as well! haha..nice view but too overly crowded and cold to enjoy

we're now off to Lan Kwai Fong..went there to have a look at the night life..lots of pubs but none of us were in the mood for drinking and our feet were killing us.... so we went back to the hotel..hahaha so happening right?

can't rmb what we did already, all i know is that we chatted till the wee hours of the morning and finally decided to slp for like 2-3 hrs! tiredddd
Day 3: 21 Nov (DISNEYLAND!!!!)
we had breakfast at this particular chinese restaurant called Chao Inn..Nice dim sum and very cheap as compared to singapore! great food, nice ambience for like SGD 8 per person? it's a steal!

Day 4: 22 Nov (OceanPark)
today, Cynthia's friend, Grace joined us for the day! she's really nice and sweet and we had lots of fun at oceanpark!
maybe its because i went to hk disneyland before, that i found oceanpark actually more interesting and fun! haha..the rides were great fun and i especially love the mine(such high drops which make my heart and stomach feel funny)!
the only ride i super against taking is the drop! which makes my feet feel like jelly just by looking at people on it! haha..alright, enough said..Pictures! :)
even the cable car was damn scary! soooo steep!!!!
haha yes, i did mention i like taking pictures with cute dustbins!
snow cones! very icy and sour!but refreshing!
we didn't dare take the actual drop ride and so we posed with it! hahah
lunch for the day! yummy fried chicken!
next stop..dinner! dinner was at this chinese restarant..looks great, nice ambience and good food!

Day 5: 23 Nov (shopping)
breakfast was at this place opposite our hotel..i though the food wasn't too bad but cyn and sam didnt really like it..anyways, needed a full breakfast for the energy to shop the whole day! hahaha

Day 6: 24 Nov (Shopping and more shopping!)
pictures are getting lesser and lesser..not many things to take and our hands are full of our buys! haha
very yummy street food! but quite expensive..and our clothes and hair soon smelt of food!
chee cheong fun skin wrapped with you tiao! quite special and nice! and porridge! i really love the porridge there!
Last day: 25 Nov (Balek Kampong)
us having our final dim sum at chao inn again..this time at a different branch! the food there is even nicer!!!! byebye my siew mai and har gao....:(
finally! Po Luo pao and egg tarts spotted!was very full but we just couldnt leave HK without eating the po luo pao and egg tarts..haha..as i'm not a fan of these 2 foods, i had soya bean milk..,but it tasted burnt! saded :(
