GONG XI FA CAI!!!

chinese new yr is always almost the same every yr for me! like a routine..but i get to have fun and eat yummy goodies! love it! although dad is the driver, dunno why sit at the back of the car also super tiring! always will slp early during ' chu yi and chu er'!!

?day one of visiting started off with sending sis off to office for the lion dance thingy. this yr i followed her to her office but it was a big mistake! super awkward and pai seh..pp bring like bf, gf, spouses and kids..im the only sister! ahaha but okok la..get to see her workplace and use her com to talk to oink

first time pp say we look alike and can tell that we are sisters! im sooo surprised! ahaha

ok la pretty la pretty! whee weet!

so so many pp asked why i nv put on make up! was quite sianed to reply..but i just said 'got pimple outbreak dare not put! !@#$%^&' lesson learnt: next time die die must make up when go visiting! haha

then to my 'da gu-gu' house for a vegetarian feast prepared by my super can cook cousins! very very nice :)

next will be to my 'tua pek' house where it will be super crowded with my many cousins and nieces who get prettier and taller every yr! from last time will carry them to play to dare not stand next to them le

my dua eem's signature dessert! barley with ginko nuts..but me, sis and cousins prefer our own mama's version better! ahaha. so rude of us!

then we went over to the hougang temple to bai bai! no more pictures though..
last stop: my 'kor po's' house! (gong gong's sister) haha..they were playing blackjack there! and first time i won in blackjack! haha won $6! woohoooo

jing ee then invited us to her place! very nice place! small but cosy and nicely furnished! liked it the most because it was air conditioned! ahaha :) went home and slept well! tired cuz the night before had to 'shou shui'

Day 2:

what we wore for the day...can't seem to take any nice pics though..nvm..haha

started the day by going to this temple near sembawang to pray..清水祖师 or something like tt..haha..then off to mama's friend place which i have been visitng for the past dunno how many yrs!
next to my another 'kor po's' place! she's such a great great cook! love her curry, spring rolls, cereal prawns, sotong! wow..can go on and on! yum yum yum *drools* no pics though..haha
after that we went to my ah gu's house! (mother's bro) over there did nothing much except answer the same few qns abt finding a job, having a bf?? blah blah! lucky this yr sis gets all the attention! "when are you getting married?" ahahaha!
ended the day early and went home to play DS the whole night!

Cynthia, sam and yao guang came over for steamboat lunch and mahjong on chu san! haha..i play mahjong terribly but i just like playing :) steamboat was yummy! haha..it took us 8 hours to complete just 2 rounds of mahjong! WOW! super slow but still great fun :)great company too! so just like tt, the whole of day 3 was over!

day 4 nothing much happened la..but i met hui ee to go shopping at giant to get steamboat ingredients! can hardly wait for steamboat! bought different types of food! think steamboat session will be GREAT! met sis at night for movie..watched the jack neo film 'love matters'. not that funny but still not too bad ba..haha

alright..finally updated! i am sooo looking forward to steamboat session with the alcoholic girls! 'jiu gui' la they all! ahahaha! more pictures the next update :)

Happy chinese new year again! get lots and lots of ang pows and win lots of money in card games and mahjong k? gong xi fa cai!
